Cheerleading today is part and parcel of American sporting culture. Every professional team in the four major sporting leagues in the country have its own full-time cheerleaders. This is no different for The San Francisco 49ers.They have the Gold Rush as their cheerleading team.
The 49ers cheerleaders have been performing for the last thirty-four years. They have established themselves as one of the NFL’s best cheerleading teams. The team consists of hardworking individuals who aim to liven up the atmosphere during the 49ers home games. Their hilarious performance entertain fans and increase the elegance on field.
Gold Rush members also get the opportunity to perform across the United States. They offer their beautifully choreographed dances to millions of football fans. The San Francisco 49ers cheerleaders also get invited to more than 300 events a year to provide entertainment.
49ers Gold Rush
The Gold Rush team includes forty squad members with five captains, twenty team veterans, and fifteen rookies. The team members come from all over the country ensuring the San Francisco 49ers cheerleaders are a diverse group of young women from all races. Cheerleaders working for the 49ers earn a modest living just receiving minimum wage. However, Previously they used to perform as independent contractors. Their each appearance amounted to about a hundred and twenty-five dollars a game.
49ers Gold Rush Auditions 30 April:
Auditions for the Gold Rush squad begin before any season start.The golden Rush audition attracts national attention from young women. Country’s most beautiful ladies take part in audition. Best of them get the final chance to perform in front of sixty-five thousand people in Levi’s Stadium. This year’s auditions start on Sunday, April 30th with the preliminary auditions held at City National Civic. The cheerleaders who pass the preliminary auditions will be invited back for the finals on May 3rd and 4th where they will be interviewed and given a final dance audition. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have flexible schedules to be able to attend practices and all the team’s home games to join the San Francisco 49ers cheerleaders.
